Once we've got what we need from you, we aim to have your SMAS application submitted within 2 to 3 working days, and it's often sooner. After that it's over to SMAS. On its website, SMAS says certification takes 1 to 7 days, and can be as little as 1 day for Worksafe and Worksafe Plus.

Your SMAS membership fee is separate: it's set by SMAS and you pay it to them directly. Join SMAS through us and you get 30% off that fee in your first year.

Both are recognised health and safety accreditations, and SMAS says its Worksafe certificate is recognised by the other schemes in the same group. But some clients ask for one by name, so go with what your client wants. We do CHAS too, and can tell you which makes sense for you.
