With the aid of real-world examples and industry-specific information, this course is intended to highlight a range of potential hazards, offering practical advice on how to cope with a range of theoretical risks. Rather than a simple tick box exercise, this course will go over the necessity of accident prevention, the basics of health and safety law, as well as how individual team members’ roles fit into workplace safety management.

Risk Assessment Training (1 Day)

Risk assessments play a key role in any health and safety policy or management system. As such, we have devised a course that breaks down the hazards and risks that risk assessments are designed to pick up on, the five steps to a successful risk assessment, and what is necessary to meet work safety regulations.
The course begins with theory discussions around risk assessments before moving onto practical examples, teaching how to perform them step-by-step from beginning to end.

The Principles of COSHH (1/2 Day)

Any workplaces that have access to control substances that are hazardous to human health must follow the applicable COSHH laws. This course teaches what those health hazards are, how to perform risk assessments to reduce any potential harm, control measures to put in place around hazardous materials, and planning to address any health emergencies related to hazardous materials.
